Welcome to Spiritual Life Ministry! 

Scripture Emphasis for 2015-2016

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go”  – Joshua 1:9

Goals for Spiritual Life Ministry

To help bring the women in our churches to a deeper commitment to Christ and to  seek to advance their spiritual growth through:

  • Consistent personal Bible study and prayer
  • Group Bible study and prayer
  • Family and personal worship
  • Regular church attendance and observance of the Lord’s Day
  • Spiritual Mentoring with other women
  • Observance of ARP WM  Annual Prayer Emphasis Program
  • Observance of World Day of Prayer (first Friday in March)
  • Observance of National Day of Prayer (first Thursday in May)

To seek to lead the women in our churches to a better understanding of “total stewardship” by encouraging faithful stewardship of their:

  • time
  • talent
  • possessions

www.arpwm.org is the website for ARP Women’s Ministries.  This well-maintained site is full of information about the many aspects of ARP Women’s Ministries.

The Christian Education Ministries office is located in the ARPCenter at One Cleveland Street,  Greenville,  SC, 29601.  Their website is [email protected].  This is a good resource for information about training/materials and speakers.

www.arpbookstore.com is operated by Christian Education Ministries and is a great place to find printed materials for personal or group use.  Also, the WM recommended Bible study books can be ordered here.

The ARP Magazine, www.arpmagazine.org , includes a Women’s Ministries section.  The annual Prayer Emphasis Program is printed in the November issue.

[email protected] is the website for Elizabeth Burns, ARP WM Coordinator.  Contact Elizabeth for information about Women’s Ministries or as a possible speaker.

www.BibleGateway.com  is a website that gives many plans for reading through the entire Bible.  Some are oriented to begin in January, but others can be started at any time.
